Enamel microabrasion in dentistry is a minimally invasive cosmetic dental treatment that involves removing a thin layer of enamel from the teeth using an acidic abrasive material. The procedure is used to remove superficial stains and discolourations from the teeth that are resistant to traditional whitening treatments, and to improve the appearance of teeth with superficial enamel irregularities and discolouration defects.
