With over 25 years of experience in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, Dr Leila Haywood is one of Brisbane's most accomplished female cosmetic dentists. A University of Queensland graduate, Dr Leila is known for her meticulous attention to detail, dedication to beautiful and functional outcomes, and a commitment to clinical excellence.
As Director of Brisbane Smile Boutique for more than two decades, Dr Leila has curated a refined environment where advanced clinical care meets contemporary design. She has led thousands of patients through smile journeys, supported by her highly skilled and trusted team.
Dr Leila's clinical focus includes Porcelain Veneers, Smile Design, Ceramic Restorations, Crowns and Bridges, Invisalign, Dental implants, Composite Resin Bonding and Full Smile Smile Makeovers. Her aesthetic approach draws from principles of symmetry, harmony, and individuality. She also provides facial aesthetic therapies to support jaw function and enhance facial balance (specific cosmetic prescription procedures cannot be detailed online in accordance with Australian regulations).
A collaborative clinician, Dr Leila works closely with elite ceramists and dental specialists throughout Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. She is also an experienced mentor, having guided dental students, oral health therapists and young Dentists across both University and private practice settings. Her consultative roles have included work with the Queensland Government and Miss Universe Australia.
Dr Leila has volunteered with multiple outreach organisations and remains a strong advocate for social justice and child protection. Her design philosophy extends into her love for coastal living, architecture, wellness and travel.
Outside of work, Dr Leila has a beautiful family and lives on the Gold Coast for most of the week, currently working Tuesday and Wednesday. She is dedicated to a pursuit of excellence in Dentistry, and will give her everything to make sure her patients have the beautiful smiles that they envision.
