Dr Leila Haywood

Dr Leila Haywood has 27 years of experience as an aesthetic dentist in Brisbane, and is a graduate of the University of Queensland. She is dedicated to aesthetic dentistry, with a focus on excellence in care, outstanding outcomes and meticulous attention to detail.

Dr Leila has advanced the healthcare and technology aspects of an aesthetic dental clinic, being the founder of Brisbane Smile Boutique for over 20 years, and caring for thousands of patients from Brisbane and beyond, with the support of a highly experienced team.

As well as having a strong preventive focus, Dr Leila mainly works in aesthetic dentistry perfecting and rehabilitating smiles with porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges, dental implants, Invisalign, porcelain restorations and composite resin tooth bonding with smile makeovers. She also has expertise with facial aesthetic and therapeutic treatments used for relief of symptoms from jaw joint problems with tooth grinding solutions, as well as for the enhancement of facial features with anti wrinkle relaxers and skin smoothing techniques especially to correct facial and smile proportion corrections when transforming a smile. Dr Leila holds the ideal and goal of delivering as perfect results in dentistry as technology can provide, and works with the best in aesthetic dentistry, with a team of leading dental specialists and ceramists in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to provide excellence in dentistry to the best of her ability. She has experience in teaching best practice and techniques to University Dentistry, Dental Hygienist, Oral health Therapy and Nursing students, mentors and demonstrates for up and coming dentists, and has also held consultant dental positions with the State Government, and Miss Universe Australia.

Dr Leila has worked as a volunteer dentist to the underprivileged in various organisations, and is a strong advocate for social justice, especially the protection and care of children, and for measures to prevent child abuse.

She loves the coast, fashion, travelling, health and design; as well as being the mother of some beautiful children.
